COVID Protocols for Unit 430 Tournamentss

We will be updating this information as things progress. COVID protocols are a moving target, and this item will be updated regularly. The ACBL Board of Directors approved the following policy at their meetings in Louisville in March, 2024:

1. VACCINATION at NABCs, Regional and Sectional tournaments is not required, and no sponsor of these ACBL-sanctioned tournaments may require vaccination.
2. Players who are sick with a communicable disease should not play.
3. MASKING: Masks are not required. Individuals may wear masks if they choose. If a masked pair asks their opponents to wear masks while at their table, the unmasked players are encouraged, but not required, to comply. Masked partnerships that make the request are expected to furnish the masks.
4. This ACBL policy does not countermand any ordinance or law in effect at the site of the tournament.
5. HAND SANITIZER: Hand sanitizer must be readily available inside the playing area.
